Re: Bigfoot
That is some pretty rough terrain. We used to practice in it when I was a volunteer fireman. I was younger, smoked less and the hike alone wore me out. The exercises themselves were 5 times worse. All for free.
Makes ya wonder if people realise the training a volunteer fireman actually goes through. Present day, I'd never do it. All the physical endurance testing you need to go through, then you may not even be selected.
Rappelling 500' down a cliff...not no sissy cliff neither, at the bottom was a cove on the beach called "Dead Man's Hollow" It was where the victoms of a ship-wreck most often washed up. It was something that made the life of a Marine look like 6th grade Phys-Ed class.

Re: Bigfoot
It looks pretty cool.. but I looked up the main area of the website, and this guy is an artist. Pretty good one as it seems.. here's the link to his site..

Actually, bears have been known to bury their dead, and I've heard the theory that bigfoot might actually do it too.. hence no evidence of bones.. this may or may not be true.. I've never seen one, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Re: Bigfoot
Stinks that it's fake... but it also means there's (If they are real) still a bigfoot out there, unless there are more than one... unless they have all died...
Anyways what would you do if you was outside doing something (lets say walking your dog) and bigfoot came up behind you??

Re: Bigfoot
I never heard of anything other than humans burying their dead, You're teaching me all kinds of new things Shell, I never even for a second thought it remotely possible. I still think it's a dumb concept. Ever since recorded time began graves have been getting robbed, bodies taken and used for science...and whatever, dug up and moved so a freeway can go through When it comes my time, I'm all for creamation, not much to test on...a few pieces of bone..teeth and a pile of dust.
I don't think all bigfoot have died Timber, I think there is a colony of them...Somewhere in the Pacific North West.
And if one came up behind Fred & I while walking...I would hope I could keep up the pace with Fred. Them weenie dogs may have short little legs, but they sure got speed. I know he would be running ( after Bigfoot tried petting him or gave him a treat ) and I'd be right behind him.

Re: Bigfoot
hahaha Jack would have been running too. He's afaid of cats so I know he wouldn't be to friendly with bigfoot... And now that I think about it I don't think all the bigfoots could have left or died... I just think they are somewhere, where no one can find them.

Re: Bigfoot
In Washington State they have a place called 'The Ape Caves' It's located fairly close to Mt Saint Helens ( The volcano that blew up ) The ape caves are actually old lava tubes, but they are huge. I'm wondering if maybe bigfoot resides in something along those lines?
They are pretty cool to explore too.

Re: Bigfoot
They would most definately have to be in some remote location. But, from all of the sightings, have you ever heard of one being aggressive? Everything I've ever heard, they talk about just seeing them, and then they shudder away like they are afraid..
What would we do if we really found one? Would we shoot it and put it up in some museum, or create some kind of habitat in the local zoo? Part of me would really like to know the truth, but like anything in this world, it has to be put on some kind of display, and I think that's why they shy away from us... I can't say I blame 'em...

Re: Bigfoot
The Ape Caves are remote, and not too many people know about most of them...the locals do though as it is such a vast network of tubes.
In all honesty, I think if one was found it would not be left alone, if it were alive it would be put in some lab and tested until it died, maybe not by the military, but some university.
If one were found dead , George Bush would have it mounted in the oval office..just because he could.
The only times I've understood it to be evil, is in Jack Links...is that the right name? Beef Jerky commercials or B rated movies. Otherwise, I too have understood it to be peaceful and caring.
