Re: Bigfoot
Yeah, I remember that.. I think he was only ticked off..
I think it would be possible for them to be in a location like you've described..
I also agree with you, and think that holds true for most cryptic creatures.. You know if they actually found nessie, they would probably do the same things.
Just found this link.. Looking for Bigfoot

Re: Bigfoot
I think I'd enjoy going on a search like that. I might not too much enjoy the lugging in of all the equipment, but other than that...Let's Go.
I never realized just how many names were associated with Bigfoot, Almost all of the continents have something of similar nature.

Re: Bigfoot
I realize that most other countries do have some kind of mystical creature that relates to each.. there must be some reason for that..
I've heard that they used to talk about stuff in the water because they didn't want their children to wander in and drown, so they created sea monsters to keep them out.. (don't know if that's true or not.. or just a theory..)

Re: Bigfoot
That's probably a good theory, but I do believe that there is plenty of sea life we've yet to discover.
On the drive home tonight I got to listen to some coast to coast, They were talking about 2 new things the found in Indonesia, One was a Miniature Opposum , the other was a giant rat. The giant rat was 5 times bigger than a city rat, Which I've never seen, Don't know if George was trying to be funny...but he related it to the size of a cow (?)

Re: Bigfoot
Geeze.. could you imagine if that were true? Eeek!
Hey.. speaking of miniature creatures.. have you ever heard of a miniature elephant?
I seen this on a program a few years ago, and have tried several times to find out more, but I can't. The program was a documentary, talking about odd creatures and stuff.. This elephant supposidly lived in the water, or near the water, and it was extremely small.. like less than a foot.. (if THAT big), they showed a fossilized skeleton, which fit inside the palm of a hand. They were supposed to be poisionous, and extinct??
Would LOVE it if you know anything about this.. everyone thinks I'm insane, but I swear I've seen this, I'd just love to know if it's true..

Re: Bigfoot
It's cool. We are all insane in our own eccentric ways. I get told that all the time. I've never heard of that, but will do some looking up. Was it a real thing? Or something along the lines of that program that was on Animal Planet, can't remember the name where they had very cool things on animals either extinct or never really existed, but looked awesome. Wish I could remember the name of the program. By describing it..I sound like I'm ready to be commited.

Re: Bigfoot
I wish I could make money off my ability to find things on the internet, I can usually find things most people can't. Guess it's only because I enjoy it...and there is always something new to find or learn.
The image was almost like an elephant though, wasn't it? And I'm thinking with the magic of Photo Shop, or a good taxidermist anything is possible.
I remember once back in Wisconsin, a friend took a class in taxidermy. He got in so much trouble, he had humming birds stuffed , White Tail Deer ( Wisconsins State Wildlife Animal ) Their Robin...hawks. But he did a good job.

Re: Bigfoot
A friend I worked with, her father done the same thing.. Never seen any of his work, but she talked about it.. I don't think I could ever do that.. But some of them look like they could just jump right into life..
