Ancient Sea Scorpion
Did you read about this? Scientists found a fossilised claw, 8 foot in length, believed to belong to an ancient sea scorpion.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/oukoe_uk_scorpion_fossil;_ylt=AuWPXC8PWrGuByWtBRf3pHHtiBIF
(I misread this.. it's actually 46 cm long.. the claw.. making the entire creature approx. 8 foot in length.. )

Re: Ancient Sea Scorpion
I wish they had a pic or something on it...Dang, A scorpion bigger than me, can you imagine the sting from that bugger? I wonder...if bugs were bigger...if other things were as well...we know the dinasaurs were, but how about trees? Worms?
On the subject of Sea Creatures, I saw a picture today, If I can retrace my steps and get it again... I'll post it. ( In Bermuda Triangle )
All I could say..is wow...what a concept.

Re: Ancient Sea Scorpion
I have this thought in my head ( One of Many by the way ) that things may not have been exactly as we may think they were back a million years ago. There was a time when I thought the entire planet may have been one huge Atlantis, but now I'm older and think it was just not what they portray it to have been.

Re: Ancient Sea Scorpion
Oh I know, it's like a lot of unexplained things.. the only thing you can do is gather what evidence you can, and try to speculate. There's no way of really knowing the truth, unless you can witness it for yourself.. even then, sometimes it's hard to see things for what they really are.

Re: Ancient Sea Scorpion
Another thing I believe, is that people ( missing links whatever ) were way more in tune to their earth and enviornment then, I believe they had senses or powers ( finding descriptive word ) that we no longer have or need, and have since lost. I think too they were into like magic or wizardry...I don't mean Voodoo or anything, but I do think they had talents.
My reason for this, is the assortment of glands and organs in our bodies that our scientists and doctors of today still can't identify why we have them...or need them. Maybe they are something still in development, and will be used in the future?

Oh, I completely agree.. that's like psychics.. though, I do believe everyone is born with a similar gift, but we just don't know how to use it.. kind of like talent..

Correct.
Some know how to use it, And some just abuse it.

Re: Ancient Sea Scorpion
Yea... I believe you have a psychic power when you are born but just some people are more in tune with it, some can tune it in or out... If you tune it out I think it is pointless going around faking it... taht just gets peoples hopes up or it makes them upset for getting false information... Sylvia Browne and John Edwards I believe are real ecspecially John Edwards... he just goes to fast in his readings... way to fast to be making it up.
Too bad they didn't have a picture, I think maybe things a LONG time ago were big like REALLY BIG, such as giants, and of course the scorpion claw!

Re: Ancient Sea Scorpion
I agree with your line of thought Timber.
Could you imagine the fly swatter needed for a common house fly the size of a 747?
I try to think ov everything...like how the flys would group on a carcass and clean it up. The magot activity must have been like a small earth quake.
