I'm hoping it is an "In Your Face" type thing. Our government needs that very badly, Something where order & sanity still prevail, but they don't have their control and ability to lie as they do now.
And I agree with 2012 ( See I'm not all Doom & Gloom ) I'm not sure if it will be an enlightenment or anything along those lines, I believe you said it the best, An Awakening. Something like: Hey guys...this is it, the real world, you stop messing it up...or it's lights out. Something like that.
