Food Network
The place I work at is having The Food Network there all day Tuesday ( Today ) they are using us for a new program called "How did that get on my plate?"
They are using us to show how tomatoes turn into sauce. If I get to be a star...I'll let you know.

It will be interesting one way or another. I've heard last time something like that happened they "hid" anyone who wasn't Italian. I'm interested to see if they do it again.

Heck...they were all done by the time I got there. I guess it was to hot for them. It's usually around 110* in the kitchen area...and 100% humidity. So I won't be able to make network television my alternate as a career choice.
I will let you know though when it's going to be aired, I'm thinking it will be within the month.

Aww.. what a bummer.. so you didn't get to see them filming or anything? I think that would have been very interesting.. Maybe you should call Mike Rowe on Dirty Jobs..

I better stick with my day job hey?
We were told that the make-up girl was really busy, each time they came out of a certain area they were sweating so bad they had to re-do the make-up. Imagine that, And we do that daily.
Supposedly it will air in August.

Hard for them to handle a real job huh? hehehe.. I know what that's like.. It was so hot this week it was almost unbareable to work.. sure was glad to get home, and get in the air!
I can't wait to see it..I will have to keep an eye out for it..

It is warm there, Gotta figure there are like ten 700 gallon kettles cooking sauce around the clock...very warm & steamy, The retort room is like a huge pressure cooker...about the size of a huge propane tank, and there are 6 of those. I'm really glad I don't work in the kitchen...just driving through it is unbearable.
As soon as they post a date for the airing...I'll let you all know.

In our check stubs today we got a notice telling us it will be September 1st at 8:30pm EDT. I just checked on the food networks website..it wasn't listed, So who knows?
