Ooops!
Sorry I have been gone the last few days.. we had an unfortunate disaster with the weed-wacker and the cable line.. hehehe..
But all is well once again, so I will get to posting.. hope everyone had a great weekend!

We had a guy here that weed wacked some poison ivy in error and it flew all into his face. Needless to say, his face was a mess.

Weed Eaters are nasty. I about put an eye out once with one when I lived in Washington. Never realized it till my eye got all swollen & red 2 days later.

Yeah, almost makes getting on your hands and knees and trimming with clippers MUCH more appealing..
Glad your eye was okay! Yard work can be very dangerous.. I think I do prefer simpiler methods to cut and weed. We even bought one of those old timey push mowers.. (better for the enviornment, and NO gas!!) Of course our yard is not that big either..

We had one of them a few years back, they do work well too, until they get dull. We have lots more grass now though, by the time I would be getting done..it would be time to start mowing.
Kind of like painting a big bridge...Once you finish, You start over.
Hmmm... go really green...buy a pair of goats.
