Okay... What do you think of the new stimulous package?
There is nothing in it for You and I ( Blue collar workers ) only for the poor...they will now be able to quit their jobs allowing them a better income, And the extremely rich will get deep tax breaks. You and I ( and our Grand Kids ) will be paying for it forever. I think it really sucks. I think they should never bail out the Auto Workers. ( They can really never be fired from a job ) yet they get $35/hour for putting on a lug nut, Wouldn't you love a job like that too?
As I see it the stimulous package will cost some $878 billion, there are about 305 million americans, Do the math once....
878000000000.00 divided by 305872099 comes out to about $2 870.48084 ( $2,870 ) for each man / woman and child in the United States. With you and your son & daughter that would come out to $8 611.44252 ( $8,611 ) now if you had that mailed to you, don't you think you could stimulate the economy a little bit?
If you and I and our next 3 generations are paying for it, shouldn't we have a say as to where it goes, or won't go?
I think we should.

Remember, this is the 2nd of 2 stimulous packages. Where the heck did the 1st $700 billion go? Not to us.

Well, I heard about it, but haven't really dug too deep to find out what was really going on with it. So thank you for keeping me up to date.
As for the whole thing... well, I think as long as it doesn't really help EVERYONE out.. it won't do much good. They really should be helping out the little people, because the way I see it, it seems if it starts from the bottom up.. it would be more helpful in the long run.
But, I don't see how it is fair to do what they are doing. Of course, it never is.
