Psychic Ability
I have been having lots of weird things happening on a more regular basis. I think it is something that has always been with me, but I didn't understand, or I would push it away.
The reason I'm bringing all of this up is because the other night after doing a meditation for my schoolwork, I was at a very relaxed point. When I went to bed, I had just snuggled in, when a woman whispered.. (more like, spoke very softly) in my ear. I was SO startled that I screamed, jumped up, scared Jack.. he began barking.. (I literally woke up the whole house). The voice was not threatning, though I cannot remember what she said..
I thought someone was in the house, it was SO clear, there is no way I imagined it.
Anyway.. talking to my friend who has visions in dreams... (she also has difficult times understanding them). We decided to join a spiritual circle.
We went to our first group meeting today. The group was full of people who experience the same things.. (nearly ALL of them are more in touch with what they experience) They are ministers, and healers, with psychic abilities..
They assured me to accept what was happening as a "gift" and to realize that it comes from a higher source, and not be afraid of it. But, to always surround myself with protection before doing meditations.. (good advice).
Anyway.. I thought this was very interesting, and I wanted to share it with you.

I think if it were me, I'd not only be waking up Fred. But Murphy next door as well. I don't think I'd be scared...but I doubt if I would fall right back asleep neither.
Maybe if it happened a time or 2, I'd get more accustomed to it and maybe inter act...or talk back.
The group sounds interesting, a good mix. It sort of surprised me to see ministers in it too, Not sure why...but it did.
Just don't come up and say that you started doing exorcism's as a hobby.

No exorcisms..  The thought of being around something potentially evil freaks me out!
Actually, after I get my Master's degree, I will be an ordained minister as well. (But that won't be for a long while..)
One of them is a hypnosis therapist, and she does past life regressions, reiki, and is an intuitive. Her friend holds ministry services inside the same building. They are both very open and take the time to listen to what you have to say, without judgement.. not many around like that anymore.
As for the voice that I heard.. I have heard things before, but never anything that felt that close. I believe it only scared me that bad, because I thought someone was in the house. But, it filled me with so many questions, so I was happy to find this group. I think they will either help me develop this more, or will at least help me to understand it.
I think everyone has the ability, but only some decide to use it.. other's shut it off completely. I think the one's who have it turned "on" are supposed to use it to help others.
They even mentioned the polar tilt, and how they believe that everyone will actually be able to "see and hear" things when it happens.. (I've heard that before). I've always thought that is what's going to happen in 2012. So.. I guess we will see about that..
Anyway.. I'll keep you posted..

I wish I knew what to think of 2012, I've heard so many twists on that. Some good...Some not so good. So for that one...we'll find out next time an election comes around.
I do agree with you on everyone having the ability, I think it's very similar to the movie The Shining. Which I think was a killer movie..but should never have been re-made.
And wow... You will be an ordained Minister...very Impressive!!!

Yeah, I saw the remake of The Shining, I think the original was WAY creepier.. Plus, Jack Nicholson was made for that part..
Yeah,.. I don't know how I'm going to use that, after I complete my thesis for my Master's Degree, I will get all my certifications as well.. I think I want to do something like spiritual counseling..?? Still undecided, really.
I also just started taking a seperate course in hypnotherapy.. I figured, if I'm going to do something like that, I might as well get that under my belt too..

I like how you know what you want to do...then go for it, that's something I've never been able to do. I've always said I want to do this...or try that, but never did. Only once I had the whim to be an Interstate Truck Driver ( I Love To Drive ) went to school...was one of the top 5 out of over 175 and never did a thing with it.
Story of my life.

It is never too late to make a dream come true.. I only began taking these courses at first, because I wanted to know more. I put it off for a long time, because of household bills, work, homeschool, too busy.. or any other excuse I could think of..
But, then I figured, what the heck.. if I can do this, then by the time the kids are out of school, maybe I will have some kind of carrer.. I have always worked in "sweat shops", and am completley sick of it.. I just wanted something I could do, where I felt I made a real difference. I am no way near it yet, but I hope that I stay true to it, complete it, and DO something with it..
To me, I believe that if there is anything you're supposed to do in life.. the opportunity will keep presenting itself, over and over again, until you take it.. (kind of like the homeschooling thing happend).. and this seemed to keep coming up in all sorts of ways.., so I figured.. I might as well give it a try..

I guess I better keep looking...I sure don't want to spend the next 20 years driving fork lift, I'd rather do something I like.
And Home Schooling...is a good ( wise ) choice.

At least you're driving..  If you want to do drive a truck, I'd try to go for it.. you never know..
And I agree about homeschooling.. I love the time we have together.. and I believe they will cherish it too, when they are all grown up.
Oh... I have to tell you about the church service that I went to the other night.. Sherry, the minister at the meeting.. has a Gnostic ministry, so I decided to go to it the other night, and just see what it was all about.. (She is psychic) .. anyway.. towards the end of the night, we got on the topic of psychic abilities, and she told me.. "I hate to be the one to tell you honey, but once you develop your skills, you will be a medium" ..She kind of freaked me out... I didn't know what to say to that.. She told me if I experienced anything, NOT to discount it, because that would push it away.... So, I guess we'll see..

Whoooaaa that's pretty cool. She must sense you have the ability and just need tho hone the skills a bit. That I think you will be exceptional at. I have no doubts.
I can't truck drive any more...I'd be a single guy really quick. The wife would divorce me really fast if I told her I was going to be a long haul trucker at 55 years old.
