Do you think weather influences EVP responses?
I've heard that everything from radio transmissions, to the weather can be a factor where EVP's are concerned. Do you think it's possible to have better/worse results when weather conditions change?
The night we recorded.. "THE TENTH".. it was a new moon, and the weather was clear and cool. Solar x-rays: Normal Geo-Field: Quiet.
I'm wondering if makes any difference at all? I would love to hear what you have to say about this.
Thanks

I think the weather might have something to do with ghost about getting e.v.p.'s like if it's stormy and rainy i think you might have a better chance of getting them.

Re: Do you think weather influences EVP responses?
weather can play many parts in getting better evp's, a few i know that helps is the full moon. it could have to do with elctro magnetic force and or energy.witch's use this opportunity to do there spells and contact the dead wich is also known as the witching hour. where these energies are at its strongest. the other possible reason is because different kinds of weather could spark a certain event in wich the spirit reacts more too.if somethig happend to them in the rain before they died then they would be more active when it rains.or any other type of weather patterns when that event occured.

and also if a spirit loved the winter , rainy days or the summer they are more likely to come out during those times and be more active.they may be dead but they still carry with them the things they liked or didnt like when they were alive.

Re: Do you think weather influences EVP responses?
That makes perfect sense. It seems if we do capture anything at all, it doesn't really matter what the weather is. We've caught them in all types of weather.
I don't know if it's someone that died on this property, I need to see if I can find something out about that in the library. But there is a cemetary about 100 yards from the house. (Possible?)
We've had several CLOSE family members pass away in the last few years, I think if anything, it may be them. We seem to capture more when things are more hectic, or stress levels are high. Like they are watching over us.. But I don't know.. I don't recognize any of the voices.. I'm not sure if a spirit will really sound like they did when they were alive.

Re: Do you think weather influences EVP responses?
in your first evp it does seem that you have a intelligent spirit. it is hard to tell who it is when they whisper alot. maybe you can experiment with specific questions only you and your passed loved ones will know. and if they respond to it correctly. maybe that will clue you in on who is really there.but yeah researching on any past neighbours in that house would be a good idea just to see if there were any deaths.the cemetary could also play a big part in your hauntings aswell.there is a cemetary right behind some apartment complexes off of bellaire and dairy ashord in houston. and there are poltergiests and other para stuff going on in the apartments.

Re: Do you think weather influences EVP responses?
Yeah, I haven't been able to do much research, and the cemetery is a family cemetery, and there is a gate, so I cannot go inside. But, it could be possible.
Although, I'm not much a believer that a spirit will reside near it's body. So, I don't think that cemeteries are really "haunted". But, the land itself may be. Who knows what was in this land, or the cemetery before it was constructed.
The evp's.. we usually ask the same questions.. vary some, but the one we asked in both of those evp's was.. "what year where you born".. we captured a response two different times with the same question. It sounds like the same voice. But once it is in reverse. That's what freaked me out. I know they are able to do that.. but their response doesn't make sence to me, in reguards to the question.. maybe I'm just not hearing it right.. ?
