I doubt I need to on such a mature forum :P

Anyway, I give unto thee a section in which to discuss grammar, english, or anything else related to such.

I've recently learned on my MA that you cannot underestimate the power that good grammar and punctuation can give your prose. I had one lecture, went away, applied the demonstrated techniques to my own work, and couldn't believe the difference.

Here's some books that will definitely help you budding authors:

The Elements of Style, Fourth Edition - William Shrunk jr & E. B. White - 'tis good...

Self-Editing for Fiction Writers - How to edit yourself into print - this is a great book and I guarantee you will learn lots from it.

Rediscover Grammar - David Crystal - back to basics and heavy going, but if you're really unsure of your grammar, this is the place to start.

Hope these prove helpful emoticon
