Re: Hello Hello
Glad to make your acquaintance, Tina. I'm Mark, but you've probably already read my intro.

Re: Hello Hello
So I take it you like Batman? lol I sheepishly admit to never having seen him in his original format, but if Tim Burton did him any kind of justice and I'm pretty sure he did then I should read the comic.

Re: Hello Hello
I'm into all types of comic characters, but Batman and Spiderman are my equal favourites.
Tim Burton's the only one to do him justice, although Christian Bale was good in Batman Begins, but that film falls flat in the last hour.
Yeah, you should read the comic. It's garnered an increased readership over the past couple of years because the writers, and artists for that matter, have really aimed at a higher age bracket... Batman is still one of my favourite comics.
If you wanted to get into reading graphic novels without losing street cred by telling your mates you read Batman, then try Vertigo's Y: The Last Man. It's aimed at adults proper, and is about the simultaneous death of every male creature on the planet, save one - Yorick Brown. It's great. Single copies go fairly cheap on e-bay, or you can pick up collected editions, graphic novels with 5 - 8 issues in each, also on e-bay. Any title from Vertigo for that matter will do you justice as the company aims at adults and older teens.
Reading comics, and by reading I mean both the words and pictures, will also help you out when it comes to scriptwriting, so yeah, go for it.
