This Trek genre thing is everywhere
I've just caught a few snippets of a Radio 4 comedy programme while I was getting dinner ready. It was set in 1966 and an idealistic writer was penning the scripts for a sci-fi show set in a utopian future. However the radio bosses felt that it was a little too pro-communism and that it should be used to advertise cigarettes instead.
The bits I heard were very funny, and pertinent to recent discussions.
