Poor Al. I would never say anything about you. YOU are such a good husband. You help out around the house, are great with kids, do as your wife tells you, obviously you cook and you're witty, very very witty. In fact I don't know anyone as witty.
You're like the perfect guy. For Emma of course...
I don't have a list as 'substantial' as Fitzgerald Fortune's to add. I don't have that much free time. I think spending time with real people is more important. Don't you Al?

Back to your television viewing for 2007, I'm working my way through The Office again; it's still fantastic!

Re: Track your television viewing 2007
I watched some more Carnivale.
The evil show which annoyingly makes me mispronounce the word Carnival.

Wickedly addictive 'evil', or big pile of pants 'evil'?

Re: Track your television viewing 2007
Paul thinks it's good, I have yet to see it but it looks good, and Carnivale is probably the real and original way of saying carnival. We English like to mess with words though, sorry, I should say "evolve" words to modern day speech patterns or somesuch thing.

Re: Track your television viewing 2007
CARNIVALE is ace!
Who could downplay a series that uses a travelling carnival as a religious allegory? (And it's set in the dustbowl too: a great and brave step for a commercial television program.) Unsurprisingly, it failed to win HBO a significant stake in the ratings war and was cancelled before its time was due; but the same fate befell DEADWOOD, which as we know is one of the best television shows produced, well, in the history of television. (Meanwhile, THE SOPRANOS--which I appreciate but don't adore--seems to have outlived its welcome; it was a show with some good ideas in its first couple of series, but it ran out of steam around the time of its third season, and despite a decline in the show's quality it still managed to attract relatively big ratings in America.)

All too true. The Steve Buscemi bits in particular smacked of desperation and were really rather embarrassing.
