2006 Nominations
Nominations for the 2006 Quantum Leap Fandom Awards are now ready to be received! Just go into the Nominations section and start posting your suggestions. Feel free to nominate as many candidates as you like for any category. If you feel there is a category absent, please reply in this thread to let us know.
Nominations will close at a time yet to be determined. At that point, the Awards Committee will go over the nominations and generate a voting list. The beginning date for voting will be given at a later date.

Just a suggestion for another category - There's a fair amount of people who have started to write "pre-leap" stories. That might be a good category to have.

Other potential areas...
Alternative Universe Story: (some point of divergence from what the show did...could be either prior to or after leaping.)
Holiday Stories (a story where a holiday is a main focus...Could be either religious or secular holiday or celebration (e.g. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentines, Mardi Gras, Memorial Day, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween, etc.) This would be open to a multi-cultural approach.
Specific Activity Story: Thinking here of something where the main part of the story is a particular activity (concert, theatre, county or state fair, amusement park, art gallery, a particular sporting event, etc.)
Organization Story: Where a main focus in the story is an organization...could be military, school, charitable organization, church (or other religious institution), police, fire, etc.
Just some thoughts

The nomination period ended on March 3 and I intended to get the voting started by the following weekend, but unfortunately I had more important priorities in real life. Voting starts today and will last for two weeks.
