Biggest Fan
Who do you think absolutely eats, sleeps, and breathes "Quantum Leap"? Does this person constantly have QL on their mind? Most of us do :b, but who could have a doctorate in Quantum Leap Canon?

I nominated Katherine Freymuth as the biggest fan. Kat and I both went on a QL Research Trip back in October and talked QL for FIVE DAYS!

I am not sure If I am allowed to do this, so If not I am sorry but you guys should see me outside of Al's place. I have some form of QL in all my other message board profiles, I have a huge crush on Scott and QL is always there for me. When I feel sad, or worried, or just need a break from something, I just pop in an Episode of Ql and I feel better. my BFF and I have seen about half od Scott Bakula's movies, have a long running personal story going with involved plots. We are constantly talking on AIM about QL and how certian songs remind us of Sam or Al, or DOnna. And I dont know about her, but almost everything around me, I see as a potential leap idea and sometimes I even imgine Sam doing that leap. I have read about half of the novels, and I could even write one on Scott's bio! Almost everthing I see inspires something Ql for me, a song, a poem(well ok not so much that one), a story or scene idea for my BFF's and my story. I have Ql on my desktop right now, and a whole folder dedicated to Ql stuff. I have stories that need to be finished because I need to wait for the right ideas and ways to make it perfect. And I have been spending a lot of time since January, trying to learn Windows Movie maker so that I can make a Ql music video. And In creative writing class we have journals that we have to write five pages of anything in every week, and guess what my first entry was? A scene about Donna waiting for Sam to come home.
I got so Despertate for all the eps when I was first descovering it that I bought a bootleg set(although not intentionally, I didnt know it was bootleg). I spend so much time thinking about Ql atuff, I have about five fic ideas that I am unable to start right now because I still have already started fics to finish. :P
So if that does not describe the biggest QL fan, than what does?

I've tried to contact the site admin about this but...haven't heard back. I'd liket to decline the nomination from ZiggyMonster. It's always been my belief that there's no such thing as a "biggest fan", "best fan" or anything of the type so this would just feel really odd to me and compromise my beliefs. Sorry.

I don't have a problem, per se. It's not like the "winner" is really the "biggest fan." I sort of see anyone that is a fan as already having won. I guess I see this one as simply a recognition by the voter's that your "activities" might just be on the extreme side of fandom (not negatively...but in a positive fashion.)
So...Julia in that sense, you fit and in a positive and non-negative way. Your fan "activities" ROCK!

Hmm, now that I ponder it, Helen and Julia make a good point. I think everyone at Al's place are the biggest fans cuz its what brought us all together, our fandom. So I believe this catagorie should be permanatly removed from the awards because it's uncomfortable and unfair to call one person the biggest fan or the best fan.
