Best Dramatic Story

Did you read a piece of fan-fiction last year that made you want to bawl your eyes out? Was Sam's leap so touching that you couldn't help but use a whole box of tissues? Go ahead an nominate the story name, author, and URL here.

I nominate for Best Dramatic Story...

Too Smart For His Own Good by Nicole Harpe

This story about the Evil Leapers snatching hold of Al's soul had me on the edge of me seat. Al's strength and determination along with the love of his family and friends to see him through this, make this the ultimate drama.

"No Choice" (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3247065/1/) by asearcher. It's just one of the possibilties out there for why Sam entered the accelerator when he did.

"My Sixt Sense" (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3339350/1/) by SilentTrainConductor. This collection of 6 stories that with senses being the common denominator was superbly done. Charicterizations were dead on and the ending was incredibly moving.

Re: Best Dramatic Story

What Doesn't Kill Us.... (http://www.sbscreencaps.com/what_doesn't_kill_us___.htm) by J. Moniz. I'd also like to nominate the sequel to it, "...Makes Us Stronger" (http://www.sbscreencaps.com/makes_us_stronger1.htm) but I'm not sure it it's acceptable since it was completed this year (though started last year).

Both stories are just chock full of complex and technical details with a really engaging storyline. Along the way, there's some really interesting insight into some of Sam's backstory.

Also, "Heat Wave" (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3090141/1/) by J. Moniz. It's a short story but it's got a powerful message well worth keeping in mind.
