Was there an episode that was just chock-full of historical tidbits? Were you so engrossed that you actually felt you were in that time period? Tell everyone what entertaining yet educational classic of 2006 belongs to this award.

Since no one has nominated any...I'm going to self nominate one.

It was part of the World Without Sam Beckett Arc in The Virtual Seasons at Al's Place. I did research it and I think it provides a pretty good picture of the time.
