Druids

I am leveling a tauren druid (obviously)and I am not sure which way to take him.
Usually I am soloing because all of my friends don't raid, do instances and are so bad in a group, that as a shaman, you have to take over a fight with something three levels below both of you because your orc warrior friend keeps pressing 1 twice (turning off auto attack ) wating his rageon battle shout and then putting blood fury on so I can't heal him....... emoticon

sorry about the monolouge, but which way, feral balance and restoration.

Re: Druids

Without a shadow of a doubt, the easiest way to level a druid is feral (and that coming from someone that has 3 druids 60 or higher.

At 10, you will get bear. This alone will give you a huge advantage with the extra armor and hit points.

At 20, you get cat form which for its level it your new rogue. You will also be moving faster because you will be outdoors a great deal if you are soloing.

30 is Travel - and with the combined feral skills, you won't need to get a mount at 40.

40 is feral bear, and that alone is amazing.

at 51 you will be able to get Leader of the pack, again just an unbelievable brick house skill.

With the ways the levels have been remade, this alone will get you to the higher levels. As you approach 60, you can then respec to other branches if you desire, but by then you will like feral far to much....

If you need specific picks, I can show you an ideal feral tree (it actually has picks in resto too)

Re: Druids

Back when I was leveling Ox, he was full resto (or regrowth?). That was back when feral was a horrible spec for druids. I leveled him to 60 pretty much soloing quests. After the patch when they fixed feral, I respecced him all feral.

I love feral emoticon

Balance gets force of nature though. If I ever make a druid, I'll probably go that. I prefer being dps, I don't like tanking or healing. if something goes wrong you're instant blame.

Whereas Boomkin is good for DPS, you won't survive long enough to do anything without a group. For soloing nothing beats feral. Don't get me wrong, my main is resto, I leveled resto, but I raid. When the expansion came out, I respeced feral and rocketed through the levels (Took me four days to get to 70).

Re: Druids

Honestly, from what i have seen in druids, i like both Balance, for Moonkin when grouping with other casters, or feral, just because of the variety of things a feral druid can do.
Not so long ago my gf said she wanted us to both roll tauren druids and level them again, i wanted to go balance, and have her go feral, but she said i hod to go feral while she went resto. Its still a good team and i have a lot of fun playing it, point is a druid is fun to play.
