Explanation (what I think) on the forsakens birth
 Ello, just been reading through these replies, and just wanna say what I believe (from watching Warcraft 3 videos + lore) the way the forsaken came to be is. Long story short.
The Lich King chose Arthas to be his champion long before the plague even began, he lured Arthas to his hold with the runeblade Frostmourne, to get Frostmourne to him he had to push the blade through the frozen throne, and that's what made the crack, and so his powers started draining out.
And so as his powers weakened, his hold over the undead did also. Thus Sylvanas (the blood elf ranger general of Silvermoon killed and ressurected by Arthas during the invasion on Silvermoon) broke free of his hold, and so did a few of her banshees. After a bit more lore, Sylvanas took over what is now Undercity, and created a faction named "The Forsaken". Then i'm not really sure how so many others broke free of The Scourge but I don't think Sylvanas is a necromancer.
Apart from that, great movie!

Sylvanas does practice necromancy. All Dark Rangers do, even Nathanos Blightcaller, and he's human.
Necromancy is a power that became natural to them in their undeath, in order to fill the void that left by the loss of their druidism.
Dark Rangers by definition necromancers to some extent, as are Death Knights and Liches.

I havn't seen Sylvanas's new model, hope it's decent!
Can anyone explain to me how to get a picture, like the ones you got in your posts?

The picture in our post is called an Avatar. In order to make one you need to go to the Control Panel, and it's under Change Misc Settings. Be sure to use a picture that's not too big for it... Adreena makes forum avatars so you can ask her if you want like mine.

yes you have the right version of events. I would know because I waited a few days when my WoW subscription ran out and played through WC3 and WC:TFT. Arthas ftw
