Re: Tips: Recording Dialogue
You can have the lousiest set up in the world, if your voice isn't right. THings go bad. Much like leaving oranges outside in the sun...
Still, it all depends on how old you are, its better the older you are.
Unfortunately, I didn't want to wait till I was 18 to start podcasting, so I sound halfway between a teenager and a gruff person.
And who knows, maybe one day i'll post my podcast link on these forums so you can listen. But I doubt it (maybe tomorrow)

Re: Tips: Recording Dialogue
Would a normal Headset w/ mic attached work?. The kind raiders usually use for vent and that stuff.

That really depends. Most are too sensitive to your breathing. I am amazed just how much it picks up.

Re: Tips: Recording Dialogue
simply move the mouthpiece to the side or above your nose and you can avoid that.
And yes, a high quality headset can work for dialogue.

I agree. Headset mic is what I use. A GE model, as a matter of fact. Not to expensive <$20, as I recall. Just be sure it comes with a popscreen

Re: Tips: Recording Dialogue
I was wondering, could if I got the Shure SM58 Microphone, could I use an XLR adapter cable to be able to plug it straight into my Microphone Jack(the headset sized ones) to do my recording?
