Excellent choice on the high hoops. I have seen several kits in that range with the highs. Glad you were able to complete your project. I am sure those three ply shells sound wonderful!

Here's a pic of my Fullerton era Rogers kit from the recording studio this past afternoon. They're 9/72's. The kick and toms sound like the hammers of doom! This is a 22-13-16 setup. I also have the 12" rack, but didn't use it on this session. Sorry for the small pic, but it was taken on the songwriter's cellphone.

Empiredrum, what is the material used for inlay on the bass hoops? I had it in my mind that Rogers used to use silver sparkle on black wrap sets before they went to the metallic inlay.
Maybe it was Ludwig that did that..
