I am sure in this case they are the reason Allen was able to die at home as he wanted to. Also even though he was terribly uncomfortable. He was spared some of the imense pain many cancer patients go through. Mind you, he did go through a tremendous amount of mental pain over the year he knew he had cancer. He also hated the pain he caused those who love him, including his mother.
Diana, thank you for posting my notice to Allen. I still can't believe he has gone for ever.

I am sorry it has taken me so long to read your post. It is now 20 months but my heart is still aching. I don't find coming here an easy thing to do.
