Val, I know you may not be back to read this, but I want to thank you on behalf of all the members of Scud Zone now and in the past.
You have given so much to Scud Zone, much time and much support for Mark.. When things got tough for Mark, and tough for you, you took a leaf out of Mark's book and gave your all.
I wish that vibes and prayers could pay you back for all those hours, days, weeks and years of work you have done here on behalf of the fans of Mark,
No one did as much for SZ as you did, and no one will be missed as much as you.

I am so sorry to read that you are having such difficult times.
I hope these vibes +++ could help you and I hope you will feel (even if you can't read it) all the support of everyone in here.
I am not checking out the news very often lately mainly because mark plays rarely.
I can't remember when I first came on scud central. It was after my first access on internet so, probably at the end of 1999. I remember you were already there, and there was Tina too.
It was nice to share with everyone our common passion for this beautiful tennis player (and I am only speaking about tennis  ) that Mark was and still is.
It's been 10 years now... times goes by too fast.
I was able to meet with fantastic people here and I got to meet some of them for real.
I often felt like only you, scudders, could understand my passion and I've always known that during a tournament, when I had no time to follow mark's results, I could come here and obtain directly the info (and photos, impressions, reports or interviews !).
I am truly amazed of how much dedication and devotion everyone has shown in the past years for mark, the others and more geneally for the SZ and SC.
Val, I can't imagine you will never come back again on that page ; because to me, it's like you belong to that place as we all belong to it.
I do hope you will overcome these difficult times and that we will hear from you sooner or later.
I know that even if you don't come back in here, you will always keep us and mark in your heart, and so will we do.

I haven't been on here for a while, so I didn't know Val had decided to say 'goodbye' to the site.
Really sorry to hear this and my thoughts are with her & her family.
Like everyone else, I appreciate all the work etc she has done for SZ over all these ears & she will be missed.
