The Chopping Block (tv series)

Just a reminder for Aussies, Mark is expected to make a cameo appearance in support of a friend during one of the episodes.

The new show starts tonight 7.30pm... if someone finds out what ep Mark is in they can post the details in here.

We can keep checking the official site because they list the following week's episodes each week. Tonight is another battle between Sydney restaurants, Melbourne might be next week.

The show is finally in Melbourne but tonight isn't the area that we want. These restaurants are in Richmond.

I hope the show doesn't get the chop before we get to see Mark! Ratings are poor and there is speculation that it won't finish.

lol, as fate has it I am pretty sure Mark is on next weeks episode!!

He pops into Cafe Burgundy... all the excitement and its probably 5 seconds of footage.... but i'll watch it anyway! emoticon

The good news is that the show rated well last week so they won't be pulling the plug as yet!

After all that anticipation, only 1 or 2 shots of Mark and not so close up at that.

Alot of shots of the top of Mark's head as the camera was recording the food critic at the next table.

Actually i thought we saw more of Mark then I was expecting... but I was hoping they'd at least ask him a question about the food or something.

I think that head chef was maybe past his prime and couldn't handle such a busy restaurant... but i wouldn't of walked out after waiting 2 hours for a meal if i was sitting next to Mark all night! emoticon
