2K Sports Reveals Renowned Lineup of Current and Legendary Stars for Top Spin 3
Tennis greats get back in the game, marking a first for next-generation consoles
NEW YORK — 2K Sports, the sports publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), is pleased to announce the all-star player lineup for Top Spin 3, the industry's most realistic and action-packed tennis video game experience. The star-studded lineup features today's sensations, including Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova, as well as Boris Becker, Bjorn Borg and Monica Seles, three of the sport's legendary players. Top Spin 3 marks the first time these iconic pros have appeared in a next-generation video game.
Created by PAM Development, a 2K studio, Top Spin 3 is slated for a spring 2008 release for Xbox 360(R) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer entertainment system, Wii(TM) home video game system, and Nintendo DS(TM).
"With Top Spin 3, we wanted to give gamers the choice to play with their favorite tennis players, as well as classic legends, an option that no other tennis game is offering," said Chris Snyder, Director of Marketing for 2K Sports. I myself am a fan of Top Spin 2, this is all the more for me too upgrade too Top Spin 3 when it comes out.
I'm surprised Mark got included, that being said though, I'm very appreciative. On Top Spin 2 I created a player too play and look like Mark, however I don't think I did a good job, this will solve that problem though.

Thankyou for loading that screenshot Jill.
I've ben counting down the days for Top Spin 3's release for several months now. Everytime I walk into JB-HIFI and see the Top Spin pre-order case it gets me all giddy inside.
I think Mark is only on the PS3 version of Top Spin 3. Just incase somebody was going too buy Top Spin for the Wii or Xbox because they thought Mark was on it.

From what i read Mark was on all platforms.. i think it's Nadal that is only limited. Can you post the article/source please.

Actually I think you're right Jill, I think I misinterpreted the article, I read it on Wikipedia. Where it mentions the names of the featured players I thought it was the players from Nadal down were only on the PS3 version.
It is very suprising that they've taken Lleyton out of the Top Spin series for the moment and put Mark in. I think 2K has a game designing team in Australia, maybe they have something to do with Mark getting into the game.
Anybody else going too get this game?

Top Spin 3 was released today.
Theres a nice little pic of Mark on the back of the Instructions, I don't recognise the pic, in my oppinion it looks like he's posed just for this game.
I'm about to play it, hopefully it'll be good.
