The Philippoussis Tennis Academy - Open day - Saturday (am) April 4th - Mark and Paul McNamee
Mark and Nick have formed The Philippoussis Tennis Academy. I'm hoping that we will get Mark's official interview soon.
The Tennis Academy will be based at one of the largest Indoor Sports Centers in Melbourne, AIM Indoor Sports at Westgate. I have removed personal details from the flyer.

Mark really loves to be around kids and works well with them. I hope this is a great success!
I would be really happy to see Mark have a successful future in this and of course playing the Outback Champions event and have success there too.

Re: The Philippoussis Tennis Academy
The flyer has been updated with a copy of all the details.
I have permission from my anonymous source to place the flyer on the Scud Zone and leave the personal details on display.
I presume these will appear in the area west of the city. I'm about as far away as you can from one side of Melbourne to the other and still be in suburbia so I don't expect to see one in my mail box or on local business notice boards.

Re: The Philippoussis Tennis Academy
looks good, the prices are very reasonable and quite standard.
Mark did mention this in an interview during the Australian open, i guess it's a little surprising to see it come about so soon. It would be great to hear what involvement Mark has with the academy. Will he be coaching.. or is he more involved in the business side of things?
I can only assume running an Tennis Academy is very involved - and would require a lot of time and focus to plan and structure how the Academy will run. With the squads, if Mark and Nick are involved with the lesson plans or have they hired additional top coaches to help plan/run the programs.
It's a big and exciting venture for the Philippoussis family - i love they've secured an top indoor facility - considering the whacky Melbourne weather, they can run the business rain, hail or shine!

Re: The Philippoussis Tennis Academy - Open day - Saturday (am) April 4th - Mark and Paul McNamee
It's lovely to hear Paul McNamee is supporting Mark - he's always been there for Mark through good and tough times!
Will there be a more official announcement of the sign up day do you think? I'm sure they'll get a strong turn out... lots of kids, parents, single young ladies, single moms
Wishing Mark and his family all the best for the opening!

Adults are welcome to on Open day, not just for the kids
I believe there will be local Media present but I don't know if it will be covered by any of the major media. I guess its almost like an official launch for the people that want to take up lessons.
It is very nice to see Paul McNamee supporting Mark and Nick in this new venture. Hopefully in time, it will grow into a great success as I think Mark has always wanted to work with kids when he retired.
