Well done Amelie!
Nice to see Amelie defeat Henin-Hardine in the final.
I'm not a fan of Henin-Hardine and have seen Amelie suffer some painful losses when in Australia over the years. I'm sure this victory was super-sweet after their last encounter.
tonight's match between Federer and Nadal will be a beauty but unfortunately, I'll have to sleep through it with work tomorrow.

Re: Well done Amelie!
Hear, hear, Val! Mauresmo seems like such a nice and smart woman, and a good sport; I'm very glad to see her win. So far you are missing a high quality match, but Federer is so tough to beat when he is at his best. Nadal is going to be even more formidable as time goes on.

Re: Well done Amelie!
I'mwith you Val. There's just something about Justine which really bugs me, where as Amelie comes over as really friendly.
I was thrilled to bits when she won. Wimbly is my favourite Slam (Melbourne comes a close 2nd) & somehow it would have spoiled it if Mrs Prim won the title. BTW, Kim was my 1st choice, but she seems to have a mental block where JHH is concerned, but Amelie was my 2nd.
