Congratulations to Roger Federer!
Wow, he was ruthless. Nadal did a great job to keep it as close as he did. It's exciting to contemplate that rivalry's development because Nadal has learned so much so quickly, and he is pushing Federer to be better than ever.
It's going to be hard to find a free court in the next few weeks! All the casual players get fired up once the French Open season starts, then there's a bit of a dip, then Wimbledon gets everyone going again!

Re: Congratulations to Roger Federer!
I heard it was a great match. I may catch some highlights later. Federer had better watch out, I think Nadal has got into his head. Its a shame though that the grass courts have slowed down so much the past 4 years.
off topic : how excited am I to read about the new pirates movie with Johnny Depp I can not get enough of the man!

Re: Congratulations to Roger Federer!
I did want Roger to win, so was really pleased he managed to hold it together the 2nd time he served for the match - good thing he had 2 breaks!
He himself has said that he really needed to win that match, he's had too many losses to Nadal, even though he's the only player who has beaten him this year. Don't think it was so much Paris that hurt, but more Rome when he had 2 matchpoints.
The hard court season in the US is going to be very interesting- willwe havethe 2rd Roger/Rafa Slam final in a row in NY?
