NOT the draw we wanted at all. There are so many qualifiers and claycourters who haven't a chance. Why does he get the 2nd favourite for thet itle (no matter wha tA-Rod thinks!)

Oh dear... i guess we can look to the positives - it should be on Arthur Ashe... we all will get coverage of it... hmmmm... 
but seriously, mark will have to play his A game and he will have to do it consistantly for however many sets. Nadal is a warrior, he wont give up no matter what. I'm sure mark has watched nadal plays, and knows the young kid will be pumped and ready to play. Mark can not walk out on court as flat as he did last year US open.. I would like to see Mark serve=volley 1st serves to keep it short, and he's going to have to really have great footwork to handle nadal's spin.
This is such a tough match... but its the perfect match for mark to really earn some respect and make it known he's a serious contender. Nadal hasnt been playing too great lately, but i'm sure will give mark everything he's got so i truly hope mark believe;s in himself and goes out fired up.
GO MARK!!!

I think that a first round encounter with Nadal is a good thing for Mark. Nadal has been practicing in Connecticut, but now it's Showtime!

from memory last year channel 9 didnt cover it at all and I've just checked the guide on www.ninemsn.com for monday and tuesday and it doesnt mention tennis at all 
looks like its only going to be foxtel for us aussies.

Ok, this is GAME ON! Mark, please bring your A game, big serves, consistent serves, agrressive play, confidence.
I'll say it: Mark can beat Nadal if he plays his best and doesn't fall into Nadal's traps, re spin/working Mark around the court.
Its a massive match, and I hope Mark is getting all the right signals to let him know, he MUST NOT concede defeat b4 the game starts, he must BELIEVE IN HIMSELF, PLAY HIS BEST POSSIBLE TENNIS, and be the champion he is!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is not a match for the faint-hearted. This is a match for WARRIORS!!!!
I'm quite excited!!! GO MARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO THE MIGHTY SCUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

come on mark mate you can beat him but you will need to be on top form as nadal has the passing shots to dismantle your game. i will look forward to agreat match which i hope and always believe in a philippoussis victory. TINK!
