It could also be a Wednesday match. Mark always seems to end up playing on Wednesdays in his 1st round match at the US open.
It's possible that Agassi will have the evening match as there is talk that he could be defeated in his 1st round match so they would want him on the big stage at night to say his farewell.
I see that they didn't give poor Lindsey an extra day to recover from he shoulder injury and she is scheduled to play on the 1st day.
I'll have to remember to watch the news tonight and tomorrow night as they may even show a snippet of Mark practising at Flushing Meadows.

gosh i hope so val!! ...mark is very sneaky, he's probably doing his best to stay out of the limelight and avoid the aussie press. I think it was on kids day last year mark surfaced, so hopefully we see some footage and hear good news about his preparation... If i read another article about nadal's great 4 hour training sessions i will scream!

The Mauresmo match before his starts at 11 AM NY time.

I hope it's overcast, no rain.... but then again if a rain interruption comes at the right time for mark, then great!  The wait will soon be over, im excitied and nervous for mark. Just hope he plays well and fights hard.

It now seems we wont see any play due to rain. The forecasts are pretty bleak, 80% chance of rain... and it's suppose to be heavy showers and steady throughout the day.
