Order of Play + discussions
order of play
Although my interest level isn't as high with Mark not playing, I'm still very interested and looking forward to lots of good tennis viewing over the next two weeks.
I'm excited because I have Foxsports digital so there are more matches to choose from to view so hopefully there will be lots to see.
It really helps to see those recent pics of Mark smiling and looking relaxed and of course the news of the positive rehab +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Re: Order of Play + discussions
Who is this guy that played Andy Rodd.ick? he was sensational to watch and almost blew Andy away!
The other match that impressed me was Safin vs Becker. Becker played amazing the first 3 sets and I really didnt' think that Marat would win the match.
I didn't watch much else but I'm impressed with Arthurs fight back against Koubek. Arthurs has said this is his last AO.
The most disappointing was the juvenile Serb / Croatia fans that had a brawl at the tennis. That's usually the kind of scenes you see at the Soccer (Football) not at the mild-mannered tennis.
I feel sorry for the poor families and kids that were terrified by this behaviour and also for the other serb/croatia fans at the tennis in their country colors that will be tarnised by those badly behaved 100+ brawlers.
Anyone else watching?

Re: Order of Play + discussions
i guess i am a little guilty of forgetting this thread... ive bookmarked the Mark news thread. sorry val
Ive been watching.. must say im loving the mens matches so far. The 1st rd Andy match was great, lots of tension in the 1st set when it was the longest tiebreak ever. Also the Safin-Becker match was good. I watch Hewitt last night and just knew he would win.
But i am loving the Baghdatis vs Monfils match!! Such entertainers and Monfils movement is just amazing! I would of loved to hear mark commentating tonight... oh well, i hope mark is enjoying his low-fat popcorn

Re: Order of Play + discussions
I´m not really watching much so far, it´s just hard because of the time difference. It´s usually on at 1am or so when I´m getting ready to sleep
But I´m gonna try to keep up with the action.

Re: Order of Play + discussions
I found todays matches very dull after last nights awesome match between Monfils and Baghdatis.
I've never seen Monfils play before, is he always like this?
A very colorful, entertaining and talented player!
I'm looking forward to Safin vs Rodd.ick tomorrow night and Gasquet vs Monfils in the afternoon. A deserving match on Vodaphone after how the crowd responded last night.

Re: Order of Play + discussions
Am I alone in finding this the most interesting slam for a while! This one seems to have really caputured my attention. I agree tho it is hard with the the time difference, and of course responsibilities never let us be the nocturnal tennis fans that we would sometimes like to be. I'm sleeping on the sofa and waking up occasionally to see whats going on hehe. unfortunately due to horrendous weather in the UK today I have lost my Satellite TV signal! Hope it comes back soon!

Re: Order of Play + discussions
Well, I haven't seen a single match, because I sleep or I am at work when the matches take place. But I switch on the tv every morning, so at least I can see some rallies during breakfast
I am very much looking forward to the weekend, when I finally can see some tennis
I would love to see the Marat/Andy clash tomorrow. I am sure it's gonna be a good match

Re: Order of Play + discussions
I'm watching as much as I can, inbetween the projects that I'm working on.
I've come to realise that I don't get to see much of any other tennis throughout the year now with the early start at work so it's a matter of getting in as much as I can while it's here.
