Watch Out! Questionable Ebay Sellers!
The purpose of the topic is to post your bad experiences with ebay sellers so as to warn other members. I would ask that members try to work out problems with a seller before posting negative feedback here. Like all people, an ebay seller is capable of mistakes. In such cases, they should be given the benefit of the doubt and allowed a chance to correct said mistake. I will allow posting of sellers who overcharge for shipping. While buildings can be exorbitantly expensive to send, figures generally are not. When posting, please provide the sellers ebay ID, the nature of the problem, and the sellers attempts, or lack thereof, to solve the problem. Remember, only post this information if you are sure the seller is a deadbeat.

Ok I'll start off with the old one. Most old collectors will remember this seller who has several aliases. I know her as either Samdean1 or jayjay1uk. She can be quite nasty to buyers and quite often will only take postal orders despite paypal now being compulsory on Ebay UK and she often lists RARE Grandparent figures which are actually just adults dressed as grandparents.

And beware that good deals aren't always guaranteed.
I purchased several items from jadlamracin g on ebay over the last month and tonight I received refunds for two of them because they are no longer available. I am pretty sure ebay has strict policies about listing items you can't provide...ah well.
My first order was paid for Jan 6th and it looks like it was only shipped yesterday (yes, that's nearly 3 weeks folks).
I should add...this doesn't make the seller a deadbeat because hopefully everything else I ordered will arrive fine. But to take SO long to ship and to have auctions listed when you don't have the stock to fulfill the orders is worth mentioning.

I can second that!
The same jadlamracing listed the White mouse family for £5.99 before Christmas which of course I snapped up (along with other buyers), only to be refunded saying that they were out of stock. Ironically they were relisted the same day for £11.99.
One would think that they should have honoured the price.
Now I know why they have so many negative and neutral feedbacks - they have obviously done this before!!!

Oh wow. Did you report that to ebay? I wasn't going to since I figured it's an honest mistake...but if I go look at their listings and see they are still selling the things I was refunded for then I will because that's just wrong.

No I didn't bother reporting it.
Once they had relisted the item under the higher price I did challenge them about it and asked if they would honor my original purchase seeing as though it was their mistake, but they refused. I told them that I wasn't surprised that so many had left neg and neutral feedback and that I was disappointed, they replied asking me not to contact them again! 
I just left it at that as I'll know better next time!
I dare say a good many people have not had any trouble, but like you said it's worth mentioning - forewarned is forearmed as they say!

I ordered many items from jadlamracing too but haven't paid yet because I'm waiting for the bid result on one item.
After reading the experience that All4Her and littlebearspark had with this seller, I'm getting worried

Try not to worry about it Pornphan, just confirm with them that they have all the items you have won in stock before you pay. Also ask them how long they expect delivery to take as some concerns within their feedback indicates this has been a problem in the past too.
I'm sure I've read that Julia has ordered from them recently without any trouble.

Wow... I was thinking of buying some things from jadlamracing too because of their cheap prices but now I am hestiating because of your comments.
Usually I have good experience with buying from UK Ebayers. In November I bought the White Mouse twins and Huckleberry Dog twins from a UK Ebay seller but I never got them to this day. I got a refund for them but am disappointed that I didn't get the items. It was not something we can control if the seller did ship them out but they never arrived. Always make sure you get registered mail or certified mail to prove that your items arrived.
All4Her, I hope you get your order from jadlamracing soon. It's not right that they waited too long before shipping them out.
