I'm not sure why it's been spray painted entirely white. Perhaps the owner was going to customize it further but gave up halfway? I can understand that, as I love repainting and customizing stuff myself. Or maybe his child just felt like it. I doubt he set out to offend anyone.

I have to agree Candy! I'm a total SF purist. Notice how there aren't any bids! It's a shame, as the Woodland Lodge with its original box is becoming quite a rarity to find. It's actually one of my favourite Tomy houses.

I'm actually quite tempted to get it. It's a house that looks like it needs fixing up and can be repainted without destroying a vintage toy, since it's already been 'destroyed' by white paint and all.

What a great idea! I see your point there,its always nice to take on a fixer-up project. Especially without feeling guilty about trashing a "classic". And as a bonus it looks ugly white so should be a real bargin. If you do get it you must post before and after photos.
