Re: Cream Cat Chantilly? wedding set
Hey that sounds like a bargain! Just looked on Wendys site
http://www.sylvanian-families.net/Families/UKCreamCatwedding.html
and she has them listed as very rare, so think you did well there!
I love the Chantillys I thought they were a new figure set, didnt realise there were wedding ones! I have all the play sets in their boxes hiding under my bed!!

Re: Cream Cat Chantilly? wedding set
Yes, I have been waiting for the Father BBQ set to come to NZ. I have him as the Lollipop Man but really like the BBQ set, especially his blue and white striped apron.
As for the wedding pair, I had not seen or herd of them before I bought them and did so on a whim having just missed out on a Solitaire Cat Wedding set. Since then Ive seen half a dozen of the Solitaire sets and only one other cream cat set. Must have been ment to be

Re: Cream Cat Chantilly? wedding set
The Flair Chantillys and the Tomy ones are a different colour. The Tomy ones look more like the JP Urban Life figures where as the Flair ones are more a creamy colour. The wedding set is one of the more difficult to find ones.

Re: Cream Cat Chantilly? wedding set
So is there a Tomy Chantilly family too then? I am going to have to have another look on Wendys site.
I thought I knew all the figures on her site, but I am way out! I had never noticed the Sweetwater Wedding bears on the 1980's "originals" list either!
If you want me to send you the BBQ set Shauna I can find out what it will cost?

Re: Cream Cat Chantilly? wedding set
Thats interesting, I thought my Wedding set looked less "fresh and creamy" but thouht it must be age and storage. We should have them here by the end of June/July so then I can compare more colsely.

Shauna, another difference that distinct the Flair Cream Cats is that they have a more chunkier mould in the bodies and are taller than other version.

Re: Cream Cat Chantilly? wedding set
This is very wierd, I have just got an email from my local Toyworld to say they have the BBQ with Chantilly father in stock Along with a dozen other new items that we have been waiting for here which is ver exciting. However I will have to wait a week or two before bringing them home as Ive been hitting the budget hard of late (what budget I hear you say?)
