Tell me more about The Band! Their costumes look AMAZING! I have never liked the Forest Families. They never look QUITE RIGHT to me. I do have a large collection of Sylvanian Instruments and I hvae always fantasized about have a parade or concert with all the SF's playing and instrument. I would need about 40 SF characters for "the band". emoticon

Did you see the band uniforms on Yahoo about a month ago? There were two a boy and girl in the one packet or perhaps someone like Moulineff (?sp)could make some to match. I like that idea and think I will persue it further. But 40 is a lot, I dont even have half that number.

Re: Forest Families

No missed the auction Shauna. I just don't have the courage to bid on Yahoo! I would need someone by my side to walk and talk me throught the whole process AND I would like a fair idea of what the full final cost would be. I am pretty sure that my entire SF collection was bought with money I didn't have!!!! HAHAHA!

I no longer have 40 Sylvanian characters. I do have nearly 40 odd instruments that I have collected over the years. I still do not have the guitar or the cello and I am guessing that I am prepared to pay a fortune for them if I ever get the opportunity. I feel inspired. I might start to play and post a photo or two!

Re: Forest Families

KD, I have just had a picture of a uniform sample from Cathy, if I was vaugley computer literate I would post it here - but Im not, bummer emoticon Anyhow it is black trousers with a white lace trimmed false shirt front and a blue satin jacket (no spots) I have asked her to make me a few for starters. I will look at a matching dress later. I think we might need to look at more of a caberet or parade band due to member limitations. I am also collecting McWalkies kilts I have three and am aiming for five to make a Highland Band. I thought we could stick to dogs McWalkies, Doughty, Kennelworth, Ochre, and maybe Barker. Three with bagpipes, one with drum and one with the "stick thingy" (someone plse tell me what this thing is called - Im sure anything has to be better than stick-thingy). Ill keep you posted. emoticon

EEEEEE!!!!!!

Mazza! You have the hippos too!!!!

I would love to have more, but I always get outbid! (actualy, I have you as a favorite on eBay *teehee*) I really have to get some pictures up. I have some pink tables and chairs with tea sets that are glued down. My mouse has a green band jacket and came with a pink keyboard. I also have the little pig singer.

Oh I wish there were more FF to go around!
