My next attempt at interior decor.....ongoing.

Hi again all. I got bored waiting for the flooring to arrive for me to complete Oakwood manor so I started a new project.

I bought Applewood cottage the other day and decided to start some more interior decorating. Now this one is tiny so it's no where near as fiddly as Oakwood.

First I taped off the areas I wanted to protect and sprayed the upper level with White spray.

Next I painted in the beams to look like wood and papered the upstairs in some lovely pink stripe paper. (I had this left over from the nursery in Oakwood)

Then I papered the downstairs area.

So here is what it looks like so far....

I have still to put in the flooring and get the furniture in. I will update when I have more photos. I'll get some close up shots of the beams to show you the wood effect.

I have ordered rose pink carpet for the living room and lilac for the upstairs, I thought about baby pink but then thought it might be too much pink in there. I also have some tiling left over to put down where the kitchen area will be. Once the carpet arrives I'll get it in take some pics and then start putting in the furniture. I'm not sure which family is going to live here yet, thats another decision to be made!
