Yup, saw the announcment too. I admit the Ellwoods Elephants are so cute especially the babies! Awww! But I am disappointed with the names of the Caramel Cats, Milky Mice, and Sugar Bear Families. Sounds like you could eat them up! No change in their clothes either, another disappointment. I was hoping they would vary the clothes like they did with the CC Hawthorne Hamsters being different than the UK Hamilton Hamsters. Oh well.

I'm glad they're coming out with more houses so I can save on shipping from the UK. Good thing I put off buying the green car! emoticon

I'm so excited about the elephants - they are just as cute as I hoped they would be.

I am a little disappointed, though not surprised, that there aren't any hedgehog babies.

Isn't the nighttime nursery set more or less the same as the earlier version, just in pink this time instead of blue?

And I echo the question about when - does anyone know when these will show up? And what are the best online places for CC now? Any recommendations besides Piggyroo? (Nothing against Piggyroo, I just like to have several options.)

PS - I just went to Julie's Gifts. Of course, she doesn't have the new items, but I noticed she has the CC Manor on sale for $185 with Free Shipping, in case anyone still wants one.

Hedgehog babies-- Its possible that they just haven't put up the picture yet. In the Pickleweed's description, they refer to their family's band being called the Sonic 6, which to me, sounds like there are 6 members in the family. So that could mean babies (or perhaps grandparents) might be coming soon.

I have no idea when the new items will be coming out. Usually they have a small release (usually the limited edition items) in late Sept./early Oct., and then a bigger release in January. So, I would say they might come out anytime between now and January. Another hint is that in the contest results, they did say that the elephants are hedgehogs would be introduced in 2010, so that leads me to think that January is more likely. But, they are posted on their website awfully early to the Jan releases.

I didn't read the fine print about the Hedgehog family, so maybe we will get two more members. Even though I love babies, grandparents might be interesting. I don't think I've ever seen any hedgehog grandparents. Does anyone know if any have ever been released?

And I'm guessing Wendy's right that we'll have to wait until 2010 for the elephants. But I'm hoping they will come out earlier.

Has anyone seen the treehouse for sale in the US yet?
