The new 2009 release are also on the offical Sylvanian Families website. Kiki's website did not show the new 5th wheel caravan that the green family car can tow. I think it's cute but I like to stay with the country traveling horse-drawn caravan.

I only have one building and will probably not buy anymore. Most are really overpriced.

They are overpriced...but I just spent $100 on trees for my village today, so I am not a reasonable person when it comes to shopping, haha.

OMG that little camper is killing me...I had not heard of that coming out. I've been trying to get the car for weeks and can't find one but now I.must.have.that.car.and.camper.

Ugh. Think I'll be working more than I wanted to this month to help fund the habit, lol.

Thanks for the news, Candy ! Really excited aboyt the new items ! Realy dismayed that they released the UL Maron Dogs in original clothing though ! I doubt I'll spend any money on buildings though unless I find the new boat interesting.

The Day at the Seaside set was actually a conpect set which was proposed by Flair in 2002. I still have the original drawings ! Other Beach proposals included a Pier, a Seaside Cottage, a Bicycle cum Ice Cream Cart and a Puppet Tent

Hope they release more of the seaside sets !

I'm really excited about all the new releases! I do agree that they seem to be very exoensvie though, so it might take me a while to save up for what I want! But thats why its good to know now, so I can plan what to buy and how much I'll need to get it.

I've got some info. apparently all of the families we've heard will be released may not be released until next year or even later than that if not at all.

Looks like Flair are reshuffling its releases after that leak-out.

I wouldn't say 'reshuffling' i'd say that they never where certain they would make that family

I know how you feel there Sakura. I bought the lollipop man and dinnerlady set so that I could get Maurice Chantilly before he got discontinued. If I'd known he was gonna bounce back this year with a cool new set of his own I'd have waited for it! Oh well, nevermind. I still want the new set anyway for the cool BBQ stuff and it would be nice to have a Maurice in normal clothes too. emoticon

I think I'm going to combust! I am actually sweating because I want it all right now. I won't have any money to purchase anything at all until the summer but I have to say once I do have some cash I'll be going wild.

The seaside set is absolutely adorable. It's not a scene I have ever envisaged incorporating in my (excuse for a) village but it's just too cute to resist. Cute or not though I'd likely buy it for the Farthing father alone.

The colorings of the Applewood Cottage are pretty, I have Rose Cottage already but don't have a problem with having multiples of the 'same' building. Like the Seaside set I'd also buy simply for the figure.

Delighted about the Department Store, I was sad to have missed out on the old Bramble one.

I only bought my first Wildwoods last summer so I have mixed feelings about the Collectors Edition set. I'll purchase it anyway, just for the elder brother and sister. I was rooting for the Chestnut family to be re-released though.

Love the colours in the Patio Set. Not generally a fan of outdoor furniture but this is on my list.

Shall buy Ingrid's camping set just for the figure. A little disappointed that the Blackberry family now have a child, as I had the adult figures happily residing in the caravan.

I love the Keats family so welcome the grandparents and the Maces are high on my 'want' list so I'll also be buying their grandparents.

The Mulberry's were next on my (chronological) list of families to buy but I was holding off as no babies were available at present. Glad to see they'll be back in stock soon.

The Caravan is inspired! Been holding off on buying the car but best get my hands on one soon now.

Love the toy shop as I'm a big, big fan of the minature houses. Great to see the gift shop available again and excited about the flower show.

OTHER CERTAINTIES: Children's Playtable, Doughnut Stall, Dressing Table.

I really do want it all, eek!

It's a shame the online store is selling at such inflated prices. I've loved dealing with them in the past but right now I'm leaning towards buying new products from Amazon as I assume they'll be quite a difference in price Sad really.

Apologies for the super long post. I'm just excited, feel free to ignore me!

Colette, you're just too funny! I like reading your post. I agree with you on most of your comments especially with the Blackberrys. Now they have a daughter, I'm not surprised they'll come up with a son.

Just who are the Farthings? This is the first time I've seen that name.

I love all the new products and I'm itching to buy them now but they won't be out until February or later. Gives me more time to save my money.
