Trade Thread. Help obtaining SF's from outside your region
The purpose of this thread is to list members who are willing to purchase items for other members that they would otherwise not be able to obtain locally. If you are looking for a US released item, you can contact one of the below members in the US and ask them to look for the item for you. The member will charge you what they payed for the item and the cost of shipping the item to you. No listing of your personal ebay auctions. You can, however, offer to bid on somebody else's auction for a member who cannot (ie bidding on a item that only will be sent in the UK for a member in Canada). This is intended solely for members to help each other, not to make a profit. To be added to this list, PM me or make a post in the discussion thread found here.

It's good to see my freshly-minted mods taking initiative like this. ^_^

How do people feel about adding a sticky thread for people that are wanting help getting certain things?
Then those of us who have put our names down to help can check and see if there is anything that we can help with.

Re: Trade Thread. Help obtaining SF's from outside your region
Hmmmm. That is a possibility. Making such a thread and rendering it as "sticky" are simple tasks. It is simply a matter of figuring out the best way to go about managing such a thread.
Should there be any rules or regulations? It is more helpful to those seeking to disallow members from responding to a help request with their own ebay auctions. If a member is searching for something, it is proper to offer them the item before it goes up on ebay. I will go ahead and make a thread shortly and we will see how it goes.

Re: Trade Thread. Help obtaining SF's from outside your region
Thanks for that Mr Bear
I had just noticed that there were a few recent posts throughout the board that were about asking for help getting items. It makes sense I suppose to have all the requests in one place rather than spread out through the board.
As for rules and/or regulations maybe see how it goes and if necessary put them in place then.

Re: Trade Thread. Help obtaining SF's from outside your region
Would any member in the UK be willing to help me with an order from the official site? Since the prices on the website include shipping and they want my first born to ship to the US, I thought I could place my order and have it shipped to a member in the UK, and then have that person just ship that whole box to me. Of course I will paypal the money for shipping in advance if needed and will even compensate you for your help!
I just can't justify paying $100 shipping for a $110 order I want to place for my daughter's birthday. But if shipping charges were what they *could* be I could easily get what I need...and more, lol.
