What are these fakes?
Hi,
I'm new. Recently brought these
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=205828872
They were sold as Sylvanian families but they are way too big, about twice the size. I'm wondering are they the Forest Families cat family or something else?
I've arranged to return them - seeing how they aren't Sylvanians, so just satisfying my curiosity.

I saw those on Trade Me too. You are right they are not Sylvanian Families, but what they are I am not sure - sorry! When I saw them listed I noticed the mis-spelling. In the auction they mention that they have dressed the baby in a skirt, but I am pretty sure that it is a Sylvanian item of clothing possibly a Tomy baby outfit. But none of the other clothing is right or the figures. Glad you are able to send them back. Didn't that trader have some other so called Sylvanian items listed too? Hope you have better luck next time and welcome to the Board

Theres no photo now? Were they forest families? There is mention of Forest Families here somewhere with some photos by my mate Mazza?
Have you ID'd them yet?
