Early Years Babblebrooks

Just wondering how hard is it to find the Early Years Babblebrooks? I saw them on Ebay a while back and it ended at $50 USD for the family of 3. Anyone in here won that one? How rare are they?

Candy, I would put it in the middle among the three early years families with the Timbertop being the most common and the McBurrows being the rarest.

I don't know how much they're really worth, but I bought mine from Wendy last year at USD$30, MIB

They are pretty rare, and getting rarer all the time. Prices are steadily going up. $50 is on the high side, but within the right range for a excellent condition set of 3. I'd put the fair market value of the family at $40-$50. More if the family is MIB.

I'm not sure if the moles are any rarer than the rabbits or bears, but because of their uniqueness, they are definitely more desirable and therefore their price tends to be about 50% higher than the Timbertops and Babblebrooks.

They were released in the UK for the 10th anniversary of Sylvanians in 1997.

I have a set of the 10th Anniversary MCBurrows Mole Family. I won an auction of MIB Tomy items and the Moles were one of the items that were included. emoticon

I don't know much, but I got my Timbertop bear set from the sylvanian shop in 2006/7 I think but then I didn't know they were so rare, so they're no longer mint but they still have origional clothes and all.

Found another ebay auction for the Early Years Babblebrooks and the seller included Nanny Timbertop and Baby Timothy. And I WON the lot for $16 USD! I'm so thrilled! emoticon
