I am watching X factor.Ive seen one bit of quality today from a certain lad who came on 70 minutes to late but still managed to win the game for us, with a perfectly weighted pass to Pikey for him to win the penalty..................PURE CLASS

RoJ-I'm distraught some guest on the other forum called me elderly, what a cheek I'm only the same age as Alex Ferguson and he knows a bit about football. Also another guest suggested I was over zealous with my promotion of a certain young striker.(some of it is tongue in cheek) just to wind a few up.(no sense of humour some people).I am not going to comment on MOOR5 Manager topic at this stage,I am waiting for the opinions of other SMSA members, there seems a strange silence at the moment. You may be surprised where I stand on the management issue.MOOR5 has become a right rebel since he moved close to geordie land I thought it was ex Man Und fans who were rebels.Rumour has it if he wins the lottery he will start up FC Moors of Solihull or even FC Moors of Durham........Are you or anyone else going to the Redditch replay tomorrow.

As well as becoming more radicalized I am worried that MOOR5 will start watching his football stripped to the waist even in January now that he is in Geordieland, assuming he develops a decent beer gut of course.

I am going to do a bit of music listening tomorrow so will have to give Redditch a miss.

And don't worry about being called elderly. I am in awe of anyone who can get a discount at B & Q of a Wednesday. Do you know I paid £23 to watch Baggies last week, whereas my elderly friend only paid £14.

It'll be because I'm out in the marches on the periphery of the kingdom. I'm being a bit like the 1536 Pilgrimage of the Grace; the Council of the North and the Palatinate of Durham will soon raise an army to resubject me to the rule of law emoticon

If I won the lottery I'd be straight through the boardroom doors at Damson Park too, but unlike some moneymen I'd try to set up a sustainable club rather than just throwing money at getting into the BSP. Having said that though, the Moors don't really have too many problems that money could solve, so perhaps I'd lend some to a friend to help him out with a real dragon of a problem.

I am a bit concerned you would lend and not give your freind the money,it must be going to be a small lottery win or you are embedded in the student loan culture.I am now oblidged to ask you or RoJ,or any other historian what the 1536 Pilgrimage of the Grace was,a bit simular to the lesson I had Hyde on the Ancient Moors Warriors . The education in the 50s was very basic, thats the 1950s not the 1850s by the way.You either went to Secondary School or Borstal Training. Grammer school was not an option they only played Rugby a type of thugs game for toffs.People may think I waste my time playing golf, watching football and playing on this computer.Well someones got to do it.That and the concessions are the only perks of getting old.

Wikipedia probably has it in more detail than I'd be able to tell you about it Keith: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilgrimage_of_Grace

Incredible in depth information - Thanks - I bet Steve Bruce did not know what he would start when he gave MOM Award to sub David Beckham.
