Apart from the MOM award , someone asked me what Brucie has got to do with Solihull Moors, well as far as I can remember,one of Steves last great projects for Blues was the master plan to knock the Moors out of that prestigious competition the B'ham Senior Cup in 2007 .The plan involved putting 4 players on over 10k a week in the side and installing Keith Bertchin in the Technical Area,whilst directing operations from the Directors Box, Blues win 4-0 pure genius.MOOR5 said Brucie could see into the future,thats true he had seen a Chinese invasion and jumped ship to Wigan (not before the Soft Porn Mafia had pocketed 3 million off them) that was delayed 2 years when the Tartan Army joined forces with David,Karen & Co. Brucie stayed 18 months at Wigan,then he saw the light, the Stadium of Light.A Geordie managing a Black Cat side,well I never.But Brucie knows his dream is not far away when a certain Knight famous for kicking hair dryers moves to the Boardroom,Steve Bruce will be there in his Theatre of Dreams.
