What is going on?
Can someone please enlighten me what is happenin g and why has spanna left the club? I know what was on the old forum is rubbish as I know he didn't take any money as he's help raise loads for SMSA.

Hi Jim, firstly thank you for coming on here to ask your question, instead of the quagmire that is the old board.
Someone will always endeavour to clear up queries sensibly on here, as it is monitored and everyone has to sign up.
For now, untill the SMSA committee meet tonight, I am unable to tell you.
Spanna himself may well do so, but untill we meet it is not official as far as I am concerned, regarding his complete resignation as Physio or whether that extends to his place on the SMSA committee. If it is may I say we have lost a most willing worker, fund raiser and work horse that we have on the committee, and he will be hard to replace if that is so, I hope not, but somehow cannot see him wanting to support the side although I did. But I had a good reason to do so.
As an aside I believe Joe Murphy has resigned as Secretary only. He has not I understand left the club and will still continue to be on the board of directors.

As promised I will report what I know. Spanna has left the club. Including resigning from the SMSA committee. We will miss his input and efforts on our behalf. We will need urgently to try to replace him with someone with energy and knowledge and desire to help.
