What was Rafa looking for?
Rafa went into Anfield stadium, which is easy to find, thanks to the sign saying "This is Anfield". But Rafa was looking for something else, something more precise. He walked down corridors, many of which he had never been down before, even though he'd been in charge since June 2004, and arrived in The Boot Room. Rafa didn't like The Boot Room. He didn't like the smell. He didn't like hearing tales of Shanks, Paisley, Fagan and Evans, in fact he was fed up of hearing those tales of old ghosts. He looked behind the Shankly statue, just in case, he checked the museum, he looked into the club shop, he even went out onto the pitch, but no, there was no sign of it. It was now clear that he had to face up to what everone was saying. Rafa had lost the dressing room.
