Defending Your Faith!
(My Good friend Naasson Wrote this)
More than ever, we as Christians need to know how to defend our faith in God and to STAND confidently on that faith! We CANNOT let measly and unintelligent and degrading comments against us move us in any way. We need to let people, whether it's while out, on the internet, at school, wherever, know that we are Christians, that that's where we stand, and this is why we stand there. Of course, we should do this mercifully, yet with firmness. Cause I'll tell you something...when the world starts to see that we stand firm against the world and it's evils, even at the cost of persecution...that's when they will start to admire the stance we take. No one respects someone who says they're a Christian but doesn't show by their actions that they are.
DO NOT BE ASHAMED THAT YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN! I challenge you to live the life you were called to in Christ, if indeed you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. God made the Heavens and the Earth, He made US and every living creature here, and He is in control of all things. If you are a son or daughter of Christ, you are the son or daughter of a MIGHTY GOD, A POWERFUL KING!
Question: If you lived in a city with the most powerful King, and you were the son or daughter of that King, would you walk around the city with your 'tail between your legs' or walk around being ashamed? Of course not! You would walk around with great confidence and power! That's how we should be walking the Earth, my friends, because JESUS IS THE KING OF THE UNIVERSE, AND YOU ARE HIS SON OR DAUGHTER! Do NOT let the world make you a weakling in your faith...let Jesus fill you with His powerful Spirit! For God has NOT given us a Spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE, AND A SOUND MIND! I printed those shirts so we would remember the power we have within us! And that power overcomes everything - the world, the flesh and the devil. They have NO power over us!
I encourage you to walk in that power my friends. Go in that power, live in that power every day. And walk like sons and daughters of GOD! Stand for Him as He stood for us...and make an impact in this world for Christ who died for us!
