I'd like an American P Bass...but that's just a little bit out of my price range. emoticon

The bass I have now is great, but it is just a beginner's bass, and I'll have to upgrade eventually. I would probaly get a something between $500 - $600, once I save up enough. Other than that, I don't really know...what would you suggest?

indeed Fender basses! other than that could tr to find a cheap Musicman bass on ebay or something.. ever thought about buying a used bass?
