The Newbie Guide: PLEASE READ
Basically there are 4 main areas
"All things band", "The Music", "Spiritual Life" and "General".
In each of these areas there are a few smaller areas, in which people can start new topics. For instance in "all things band" there are these areas: "The band:sk" and "Concerts".
If you wanted to start a conversation about a show you went to, you would probably go to "concerts" and see if someone already started a topic. If not, you can start one so that you can talk about it with others.
I suggest just looking around, clicking a few things and trying to get to know this place. And I'm sure other ppl are willing to take you on a little tour and explain about typical things.
"The Music" has one place called "Studio" where you can talk about instruments, singing, chords, etc. "Behind the Songs" is specifically for talking about SK's songs - that includes lyrics, personal stories, and sheer music. Only ONE thread per song for this board.
"Spiritual Life" has two threads: "Seeking Truth" and "Other Spiritual Thoughts and Discussions". This is where you can respectfully comment in threads already posted about daily life issues or where you can start a thread if you need help with anything going on with your life.
Another good place that we encourage you to go to is "Prayer Requests" We want to be a support to you in this area.
"General" has 4 sections "Newbie Avenue" - Which is this one you introduce yourself here and get to know people.
"General Discussions" - Here you can post threads about anything that does fall under the other cagtergories listed above and below.
"Game Room" - This is a place to have fun playing games. Check all the threads out and find your favorite.
"Bands Other Than SK" - Here you can post threads about your other favorite bands. Please use the Search engine first, before posting a new thread, to make sure the group you like doesn't already have a thread going.
In the General Section there is a thread called the Random thread. Usually it has some sort of title along with it, for example old randoms like "The Cheesehead Random" or "The Royal Random", etc.
In the Random, you can talk about anything. All other threads have to be kept on topic, but you can go crazy and have fun with this one. And you don't have to be a random person to post in there.
Only ONE Random thread at a time. (threads that resemble a Random thread, like "just want to chat" or "i'm bored, talk to me" will be locked)
1. Newbie Section Posting Rules - Please, no bumping threads older then a week. This clutters the first page and can sometimes cause real newbies to be overlooked and not welcomed.
Every newbie can start their own newbie thread, but, please, no more then one per person. The purpose of making your own personal thread is so that you can get an equal chance to meet everyone.
2. Sometimes, you may run across an user who's location says they are from somewhere other then the US. About half the time, the posters aren't really from there. Picking a different country is just a fun way to spice up things on here.
However, we really do have posters from:the Netherlands
3. Definitions:
KR ~ Kart Riders
SK ~ short for Stellar kart
