prayer request.. I think we can all agree that every person has their way of praising the Lord. My friends and I have one in common which is praising Him through music. That is exactly the reason why we enjoy playing so much and work hard at it. Since this summer we have been working on solos for Susquehanna Valley Band and District Band. Last night was SVB auditions and this morning we got our results. A few of my friends and I made it in. But one friend didn't. She deserved to get in soo much. She practiced so hard and was amazing at it. She's such an amazing trumpet player. I don't know what happened but something went wrong and she didn't get in. She's really upset about it and i think she's beating herself up about it. I'm very sad that she didn't make it because we do almost everything together, especially band stuff. She's one of the best friends I have and has been there for me through everything. I would def give up my seat in svb for her if i could. But since i can't i've been praying like crazy for one thing. We have district band tryouts on Sunday and i know she can make it. so please pray for my friend. God knows who she is. thanks. =]
Re: prayer request.. Awww.. Well you should tell her that if i tried out I'd probably kill the judges or whatever. I have no musical talent whatsoever. except for singing..
Anyway, illl pray for her.
And isn't there always next year to try out, right?
