Hey everyone! On a more serious note, it seems like everyone is going through some tough times lately. Ive noticed a little weariness among our soldiers out there. Don't lose heart! Don't give up! I've seen people give up when they've pushed so hard through all this crud, just when u could see they'd almost made it. It's like driving, not knowing how far u have to drive, the map saying ur on the right track, but becuz u dont know where u are, or u've driven so long and ur tired of driving, u just stop and give up. when all u had was less than a mile to go! maybe u stop just 100 feet from the turn ur about to make, or ur destination! Its so hard to witness this with so many people. u may not see the end, u may feel like ur in a dark place, but we know the truth.
The truth says that you're not alone (Psalm 94:14, Hebrews 13:5b-6).
It says that you can rely on this map and ull make it to ur destination okay, but not just okay. That if you place ur life in Him, you'll prosper in every aspect of life. (Psalm 16:11, Jer. 29:11, Ps. 1:1-3, Ps 5:12, 2 Cor. 2:14)
We know we have hope, strength and joy through Him, no matter what our circumstances may be (Ps. 1:3, Ps 16:11, Ps 28:7, Ps 37:39, Gal. 5:22, 2 Cor. 4:8-9)
One thing I'd like to see in this prayer request forum is more specifics. You guys, i know you have such caring hearts, and love to pray for others. Prayer is good, it accomplishes so much (James 5:16)! But prayer works off faith, and we cant all stand in agreement with you concerning issues without some direction (james 1:6-7, matt 18:19).
